This webinar will overview RD ALFA Microelectronics, its heritage, and the current offering of radiation-hardened components qualified for space applications. RD ALFA contributes to European non-dependence by supplying several component types as a unique EU source. The session will cover component families, manufacturing and testing capabilities, and subcontracting possibilities for space, industry, or defence electronics companies. We will also discuss the ESCC qualification flow, current qualification status, and RD ALFA’s innovative product development and industrialisation approach.

At RD ALFA Microelectronics, he is responsible for partnerships with the European Space Agency and major system integrators such as Thales Alenia Space and Airbus. He also serves as the head of the Latvian Space Industry Association, supporting the development of Latvia’s space ecosystem and promoting local industrial capabilities.
