MIL-STD-750, Method 1057 Environmental Test Methods for Semiconductor Devices Part 1: Resistance to glass cracking

This test method provides a means of judging the relative resistance of glass encapsulated semiconductor devices to cracking under conditions of thermal stress. It employs immersion in a hot liquid and then water to simulate the thermal stresses associated with both device manufacturing processes and end user assembly procedures.
