Flux has been qualified by ESA via Technology Flow, and it is already listed in the March 2020 issues of ESCC QPL and ESCC QML.
The Technology Flow Qualification to Detail Specification ESCC3201/013 “Customised Magnetics based on type FT” enables Flux to design, manufacture, and test custom magnetics as ESA-qualified parts.
The qualification baseline is Flux Space heritage through 25 years. Qualification maintenance will be performed solely by Flux towards ESA and components will not require validation tests or destructive incoming test.
One Flux ESA Certified Inspectors will inspect all parts at KIP and Buy Off.
ESCC Qualified Parts is an addition to Flux’s classic disciplines of designing to MIL-STD-981, performing to MIL-PRF-27, and testing to MIL-STD-202, as described in the Flux Generic Specification.
