Testing prototypes, production boards, and components

At ALTER, we offer comprehensive Electronic Product Testing regarding laboratory tests for complex systems, equipment, and components. All our tests are carried out in situ in our facilities. For the products to obtain adequate acceptance, system integrations are made concerning global compliance.

The type of electronic product tests is based on customer specifications and normative applying to the kind of the final product where the electronics will be used (Industry, Space, automotive…)

Typical tests are:

Functional tests are always needed to check that the design meets the functionality requirements of the customer. Most of the time, test jigs and special SW need to be built to carry on the functional performance of the electronics module.

Tests following EN standards relating to CE marking, MIL-STD-461, RTCA DO 160, and CISPR. By declaring the conformity of the product with the rules of the CE marking, by means of the CE marking and the CE declaration of conformity, the manufacturer is declaring, under his sole responsibility, that the product meets all the requirements established by European laws and that it has carried carry out the conformity assessment procedure to verify the conformity of the product with all relevant essential requirements of the applicable directives.

Radiated and conducted emissions, susceptibility. These tests are predefined and are carried out to verify that the electromagnetic disturbances produced by electrical and electronic equipment do not affect the functioning or operation of other equipment or telecommunications networks and check if they have an adequate level of immunity for their correct operation.
